Dale House, Rosehill House and the Chestnuts are impressive 18th and 19th century houses built to accommodate successive generations of the Darby family.


Tea Kettle Row, which consists of 6 terrace cottages, was built in 1745 for the workers employed by the Darbys in their Ironworks.
